About the Role

Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting for a passionate and experienced Supported Living Manager to lead and manage a supported living service in Sandwich, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established manager or an experienced senior support worker/team leader looking to take the next step in their career.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support is provided to adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. This is a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference to people’s lives, promoting independence, dignity, and choice.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the supported living service in line with organisational values and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, supervise and support a team of support workers, ensuring effective training, development and performance.
  • Develop person-centred support plans and risk assessments tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, health and safety, safeguarding, and company policies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage staffing rotas and resources effectively within budget.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience in supported living services is essential.
  • Strong understanding of autism, learning disabilities, and person-centred support.
  • Confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A flexible, proactive and compassionate approach.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.
Desirable
  • Prior management experience in a similar setting is ideal, but we are open to applicants ready to step up into a management role, provided you have the right experience and attitude.
