Job description

Role Overview: Registered Nurse Manager
Salary: £49,140 per annum
Hours: 40 per week
Contract: Fixed-term (6 7 months)
Start Date: February 2026

The service supports individuals with enduring mental health needs alongside physical health requirements. The Registered Nurse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, including clinical oversight, staff management, compliance, care planning, medication governance, and ensuring the service meets RISCA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage and support staff teams
  • Carry out supervisions, appraisals and team meetings
  • Provide clinical leadership and maintain high care standards
  • Participate in the on-call rota
  • Oversee risk assessments and person-centred care plans
  • Ensure effective medication administration and accurate record keeping
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures
  • Promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance
Candidate Requirements:
  • Current Nursing PIN RMN, RNMH or RNLD preferred (RGN with relevant mental health experience will be considered)
  • Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent (essential)
  • Strong organisational, leadership and communication abilities
  • Confident working independently and prioritising service needs
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and vulnerable adult processes
  • Flexibility to cover shifts when required
