An Endoscopy Nurse is a registered nurse who provides specialised care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and ERCP.

The role combines technical skills, patient care, and infection control expertise, requiring both clinical competence and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.

In this role the post holder will participate in and manage the Emergency on‑call service 24/7, supporting out‑of‑hours, bank holidays and weekends through an on‑call rota.
