Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience, preferably in a similar role in the UK or Newly Qualified.
• Knowledge and understanding of Care regulations including Health & Safety and Adult Safeguarding.
• Experience of working in a care setting, care planning and implementation ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating residents’ health conditions and needs, developing nursing care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Providing direct patient care including wound dressing and monitoring vital signs.
• Communicating with residents’ family members about their condition and progress.
• Supervising and training nursing assistants and junior nursing staff.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in the Hounslow area as a Registered General Nurse.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Successful applicants will have 1-2 years experience, preferably in a similar role in the UK or Newly Qualified.

Salary : £20 - £21 per hour depending on the experience

Permanent contract, Paid breaks, Sponsorship provided for the right applicant.

The home

This Care Centre provides residential and nursing care for up to 160 residents requiring general nursing needs and end of life care. The home can care for those living with dementia, younger adults with physical disabilities and mental health needs.

The successful candidate will have

• Registered General Nurse with a current PIN and registered with the NMC.
• Good communication skills with the ability to effectively manage workloads.
• Knowledge of relevant Community Care legislation and Health & Safety.
• IT system knowledge with the ability to maintain accurate records.

What you’ll do

• Evaluating residents’ health conditions and needs, developing appropriate nursing care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Providing direct patient care including wound dressing, and monitoring vital signs
• Communicating with residents’ family members and healthcare team about their condition and progress
• Providing emotional support and therapeutic communication to residents and their families
• Supervising and training nursing assistants and junior nursing staff
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, including sanitation and infection control
