Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments adhering to medical prescriptions and care plans.
  • Complete physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, health status and changes in residents’ conditions.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individual care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and families.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for residents.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
  • Stay updated on current medical practices.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with active NMC nursing pin.
  • Proven experience as a registered nurse in a care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing healthcare needs.
  • Compassion, empathy and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • This position requires a PVG and two references.
