Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at Chorleywood Manor Care Home, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act on their behalf while ensuring high standards of care for the residents. Package Description: We support the people who care for our residents, celebrating and supporting you every step of the way.

  • Undertake nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advise families and GPs of any changes in resident conditions, keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
  • Effectively deploy and supervise the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive required care.
  • Provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
