A regional healthcare organization in Rawtenstall is seeking a part-time Registered Mental Health Nurse for the Community Mental Health Team. This role involves providing high-quality care to older adults within the community, participating in assessments, and delivering treatment plans. Based at Ballenden House, Rawtenstall in the beautiful Rossendale Valley. This part‑time Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse role requires 22.5 hours per week.
This role is part of the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team. The team is multidisciplinary and works across community services for older adults, including those with dementia.
Potential candidates need to have relevant older‑adult or adult mental-health community experience and proven clinical skills within community mental health services. Excellent clinical skills, knowledge of older‑adult care, and a positive attitude to care delivery are essential. Familiarity with transformation work (CPA to Dialog+) and crisis/care planning models and initiatives is desirable. A working knowledge of current national and local drivers is required. Candidates should demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and the ability to manage the demands of a busy community team.
