Registered Mental Health Nurse High Dependency Unit (Birmingham B12)

Permanent £16.68+ per hour (DOE)

Full-time 157.5 hours every 4 weeks

Were working with a leading mental health care provider in Birmingham to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) for their newly opened high dependency inpatient unit.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and skilled RMN who is passionate about supporting individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs.

You’ll be part of a full multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred care and playing a key role in service users recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a therapeutic setting
  • Lead shifts and support team cohesion
  • Develop and review care plans and risk assessments
  • Build therapeutic relationships and promote recovery-focused interventions
  • Represent the nursing team in MDT meetings
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
What We Are Looking For
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC registered or pending registration)
  • Strong understanding of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and CPA
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for mental health care
