Qualifications

  • Must hold Level 3 in Residential Childcare and Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or be actively working towards Level 5).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's home.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and children’s residential care.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

They are looking for a Registered Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for all children. The role involves maintaining compliance with Ofsted and regulatory requirements, leading and supporting the team, and fostering a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the residential care team, promoting high standards of care and professional practice.
  • Ensure the home meets Ofsted and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding and compliance.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including care planning, risk assessments, staffing, and resources.
  • Monitor and promote children’s safety, wellbeing, and personal development.
  • Drive continuous improvement through quality assurance, feedback, and staff development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and external agencies.
Essential Requirements
  • Must hold Level 3 in Residential Childcare and Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or be actively working towards Level 5).
