Job description
Overview

A large top-tier provider, operating nationally with over 50 homes. They have one of the best company-wide track records with Ofsted; over 90% of the homes are GOOD or OUTSTANDING. By the end of 2024, there will be an additional 23 homes within the group. Position supports a comprehensive organisational framework including IT, HR and Marketing, bespoke database systems, and a dedicated education service, along with an in-house therapeutic model and a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Work within a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team and report to and work alongside the Regional Operations Manager and wider senior management team to receive guidance.
  • Provide direct therapeutic work with children as part of an in-house therapeutic model and collaborate with a dedicated psychologist within the home and community.
  • Utilise the internal education service and industry-leading safeguarding training.
  • Engage with and support staff across the organisation’s homes and ensure effective operational processes and procedures are followed.
  • Support staff in achieving and maintaining strong Ofsted ratings (Good or Outstanding) where applicable.
  • Contribute to the company’s growth and progression opportunities, including internal promotions and regional/senior regional roles.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • LEVEL 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
  • At least 2 years in a role supervising and managing staff.
  • A "Good" or "Outstanding" grade within recent Ofsted inspections.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Residential Childcare and working alongside young people.
  • Valid driving licence.
