Qualifications

Registered Manager Children's Home in Goldthorn Wolverhampton WV2

£60k plus KPI bonus.

We are looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager to join our new Solo Unit which is in a quiet road in the suburb of Goldthorn, Wolverhampton. Supporting an 8-18 year old with SEBD and challenging behaviour.

This will be a challenging role. – 2 to one staff ratio.

The home has its planning. You will be involved in the next process of setting up the home and recruitment further down the line.

Also completing the Ofsted home inspection and interview.

This is a great opportunity for the successful Manager to create their own personality on the home.

There will be full support and guidance throughout from the directors and RI.

You will be required to work Monday- Friday.

Key Skill / Experience of Registered Manager

• Managerial role within a Children's Residential setting : 2 years (Required)
• Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Required)
• Must have at least 2 years of experience working with young people in Residential Care and at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in Children homes
• Candidate must have previous experience in a role requiring supervision and management of care staff.
• Be able to demonstrate auditing, managing budgets and monitoring skills
• Can evidence knowledge of Reg 44 and Reg 45 reporting and Ofsted inspections
• Can demonstrate how to develop a staff team to ensure they have clear vision and goals.
• Has a good working knowledge of Children’s homes regulations and the Social care common inspection framework
• Has strong values and beliefs
• Has integrity and good character
• Can evidence experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams
