Overview

Could you be our Registered Care Manager?

We have a fantastic Registered Care Manager (RCM) opportunity within our Residential Service in Carrickfergus.

This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week. We are offering a Registered Care Manager in Carrickfergus £36,563 per annum.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the management team who enjoys a fast-paced environment. Is it essential you have a Full UK Drivers License for this position.

Edenvale Avenue is a 10 bedded residential service supporting individuals with sensory impairment and/or complex needs, a beautiful service, offering a supportive working environment which is committed to quality, and an emphasis on training and development of our staff!

The high staffing ratios reflect Sense’s commitment to provide high quality services that meet the unique needs of the people we support.

As a Registered Care Manager, you will be managing a large staff team of the Deputy Manager, Team Leaders and Support Workers.

The team at the service encourage that no one is left out of life and that independence is continually developed along with day to day living skills.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in any health and social care setting, including a minimum of 2 years experience in an operational management capacity.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders, commissioners, and users alike is essential.
  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent, including adult residential management.
  • Experience of supporting a large staff team, and supporting people with challenging behaviour.
  • A full UK Drivers License.
