A leading food manufacturing business is seeking a Regional Supply Planning Lead to manage supply plans across multiple sites in the UK. The role involves collaborating with production and logistics teams to optimize stock availability, monitoring demand forecasts, and driving continuous improvement in planning processes. Ideal candidates will have deep supply planning knowledge, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The position offers a hybrid working model, with 75% home-based and travel to various sites.

A leading food manufacturing business with multiple sites across the UK are looking for a Regional Supply Planning Lead to join their team. As Regional Supply Planning Lead you will manage the supply plan across multiple sites to ensure the successful execution and balancing of service, inventory and cost. This role will be 75% home based with the need to travel to sites based across the UK.

About the role
  • Manage supply planning for multiple sites within the region, balancing inventory levels and service targets.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimise stock availability.
  • Monitor demand forecasts and adjust supply plans to meet changing market needs.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and implement proactive solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems.
  • Lead regional S&OP pillars and provide escalations to exec S&OP and support the introduction of IBP
  • Lead portfolio review and work with finance to identify SKUs hat are not profitable
About the person
  • Deep and detailed supply planning knowledge, ideally with multi-site experience.
  • Previous experience working within food manufacturing or FMCG would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning tools (SAP or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions.
