Recruitment Officer
Location: Cunard Building, Water Street, Pier Head, Liverpool, L2 2BS
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £17.00 Per Hour

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment processes and personal caseloads.

  • Provide advice on writing job adverts and selecting candidates.

  • Conduct pre-employment checks and process DBS checks.

  • Answer employment-related questions and issue contracts.

  • Advertise vacancies through various channels including social media and partner agencies.

  • Operate applicant tracking and HR systems.

  • Verify work eligibility, references, and medical documents.

  • Represent the Council at job fairs and events.

  • Work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Act as a brand ambassador for the Council.

Person Specifications
  • HR/Recruitment qualification or relevant experience.

  • Experience in fast-paced recruitment environments.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and vetting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and using AI tools.
