Overview

Line manage and support a team of Recruitment Coordinators, creating an inclusive, supportive and high-performing environment. Coach and develop team members across the full recruitment lifecycle, sharing best practice and encouraging continuous improvement.

Work closely with the Pan Alliance Recruitment Manager to set clear objectives aligned to Alliance priorities and values.

Responsibilities
  • Be a trusted recruitment partner
  • Manage a portfolio of roles across designated business areas, working closely with hiring managers and partner organisations
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for senior and specialist roles, delivering a high‑touch candidate experience.
  • Drive improvement and innovation: review recruitment processes and use data, insight and feedback to improve efficiency, quality and candidate experience.
  • Contribute to recruitment projects that enhance delivery, strengthen employer brand and support long‑term capability.
  • Deputise for the Pan Alliance Recruitment Manager when required, supporting reporting, partner engagement and team development.
  • Champion safety, wellbeing and values: promote a strong health, safety and wellbeing culture in line with Anglian Water and Alliance expectations; role model our values of collaboration, trust, inclusivity and continuous learning.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience working in recruitment (in‑house or agency), including senior‑level roles.
  • Experience of directly sourcing senior level roles through a variety of techniques.
  • Line management or mentoring experience, with a passion for developing others.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders.
  • Ability to influence, challenge constructively and build trusted relationships.
  • Organised, data‑driven and comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • Experience improving recruitment processes and ways of working.
  • Recruitment qualification (desirable).
