Location: Slough and surrounding areas (Uxbridge to East London)

Date: 13th January 2026

Pay: £19.17 per hour

Hours: 30 hours a week: Days, nights & weekends

As a Relief Screening Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of people and property within the assigned area. This position involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at client sites, utilising tools such as wands and metal detectors, and ensuring compliance with established security protocols. Through ongoing training and vigilance, the Relief Screening Officer helps create a secure environment for all.

This is a hands‑on role that requires attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and a proactive approach to risk management. As a Relief Screening Officer, you will monitor traffic flow at screening checkpoints, perform searches using approved methods, and promptly report any security breaches or unsafe conditions. You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Adhere to and apply the Screening Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Require datacentre personnel to utilise metal detection and/or wand for secure area access
• Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoints
• Carry out all functions, duties or tasks in an honest, ethical and professional manner
• Follow safe work practices and be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety. Notify superiors of any unsafe working conditions
• Answer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Display an outstanding level of customer service
