Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Receptionist (16 hours per week) to join the Patient Services/Family Services Reception Team at Scunthorpe General Hospital. The postholder will work in the Family Services Reception areas (Obstetrics, Paediatrics and Gynaecology) with coverage across other central reception areas as required. You will provide a welcoming, professional and courteous service to patients and visitors, and support the efficient running of the reception areas across the Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a welcoming, professional, and courteous service to patients and visitors in person and via other communication methods.
  • Assist patients and visitors using a variety of communication methods.
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues and other hospital departments in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of information and patient details in line with the Data Protection Act, Caldicott guidelines and Trust policies.
