Receptionist - Cardio Respiratory

We are looking for a vibrant, confident person to join the team to help deliver a high quality service in the Cardio-Respiratory Department based at Colchester Hospital on a part time basis. We need key staff, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail, to work here.

Main duties will be to provide a full booking service for patients attending the cardio respiratory appointments, working closely with clinical staff from several health service providers. To operate a computerised appointment system to book in re-schedule patient appointments.

You must have basic keyboard skills and have a clear and confident telephone manner. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar environment within an NHS setting. You will need to have excellent organisational skills as this is a fast paced environment to work in.

You will need to have the ability to work on your own initiative and youmust be able to remain calm in difficult situations.

Future requirements of the role may involve travel across our acute sites.
