A healthcare organization in Greater London seeks a part-time receptionist for its busy Perinatal department. The role involves reception and administrative duties, which include managing a room booking system and supporting clinical staff. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and have a GCSE or equivalent qualification, including English Language. Experience in an NHS environment is preferred, and the position is vital for maintaining efficient operations and patient interactions. This role offers working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
We are looking to recruit a part‑time receptionist to undertake reception and administrative duties in a busy Perinatal department in Tower Hamlets. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

The successful applicant will work closely with the clinical staff and administrative staff and will have daily, direct contact with patients, relatives and visitors. Excellent communication/customer service skills are a pre‑requisite for this role. The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is absolutely essential. You will be well‑organised, highly motivated and able to work as part of a team. You will need to be hard‑working, flexible and reliable with good interpersonal skills. Applicants must be educated to GCSE or equivalent to include English Language. You must have excellent interpersonal and IT skills, including Windows based software products e.g. MS Word, Outlook and data inputting as you will be required to manage a room booking system. Previous experience in an NHS setting and a proven record of working well within a team would be required.
