Job summary

A recruitment agency in the UK seeks a receptionist to provide exceptional customer service at their client’s Newbury site. We are currently looking for a receptionist to work on our client’s site within Newbury, ensuring that all tenants and visitors receive a 5* service.

The role involves working in the front‑of‑house team on the ground floor, welcoming visitors, answering emails and phone calls, handling queries from visitors, and performing administrative duties.

Newbury – 11th December to 13th January

Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities
  • Ensure a five‑star service by welcoming visitors and directing them accordingly.
  • Answer all calls and emails promptly and appropriately.
  • Manage the reception and helpdesk inbox.
  • Deal with any queries from occupiers or workers.
  • Sign in visitors and provide directions.
  • Report relevant information and issues to the Front of House Manager and the designated Facilities Management team.
  • Maintain an immaculate front‑of‑house area, replenish kitchen stock, and keep all areas tidy.
Qualifications & Preferences

We are looking for candidates with customer‑facing experience in:

  • Marketing/Event

Desired traits include enthusiasm for high‑level service delivery, a friendly, professional, bubbly personality, and an extremely well‑presented appearance (must own a Black/Navy suit with matching blazer, white shirt, and black court shoes – tie required for male applicants).
