We're seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team at Danetre Community Hospital, where you'll play a vital role in supporting patients and colleagues while being part of a caring and professional NHS service.

DHU Band 2.0, £23,875 per annum (pro rata)

Working Pattern

Average over 6 weeks = 46.02 hours / 7.67 hours per week

  • Week 1:
    • Monday – 7:45 pm – 11:59 pm
    • Thursday – 7:45 pm – 11:59 pm
    • Friday – 7:45 pm – 11:59 pm
  • Week 2:
    • Monday – 7:45 pm – 11:59 pm
    • Saturday – 1 pm – 5:59 pm
    • Sunday – 7:45 am – 12:59 pm
  • Week 3:
    • Thursday – 7:45 pm – 11:59 pm
    • Friday – 7:45 pm – 11:59 pm
    • Sunday – 6 pm – 11:59 pm
  • Week 4: No shifts
  • Week 5: No shifts
  • Week 6:
    • Thursday – 7:45 pm – 11:59 pm

Your Role

As a Receptionist, you'll be the welcoming face of our service, supporting patients and ensuring smooth communication. Your typical day will include:

  • Greeting and managing patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Handling calls and transferring them to the right people
  • Supporting appointment queries and comfort calls
  • Managing requests for home visits following practice protocols
What We're Looking For

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self‑motivation and initiative
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Experience in healthcare is desirable, but not essential
Generous annual leave entitlement

Standard 25 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing with service up to 33 days + 8 bank holidays. Pro Rata/ Per Annum
