Job summary

A recruitment agency in Belfast is seeking a Receptionist / Admin Support to provide exceptional customer service and support to various departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong IT abilities, and previous experience in a busy reception environment. This role requires flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial point of contact for any visitors or telephone enquiries.
  • Operate the switchboard, redirecting calls and taking messages.
  • Develop and maintain processes within the reception area.
  • Carry out day-to-day administration of the front office.
  • Answer queries from work seekers.
  • Assist other administrative staff with overflow work.
  • Liaise with departments regarding ordering stationary.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and assignments.

Job description

We are seeking a Receptionist / Admin Support to join our expanding team based in Belfast.The role will require excellent communication, organisational, customer service and people skills with the ability to work in partnership across a number of departments.

Responsibilities
  • To act as the initial point of contract for any visitors or telephone enquires.
  • Operate the switchboard, redirecting calls appropriately and taking / relaying accurate verbal and written messages.
  • To develop and maintain processes and procedure within the reception area.
  • To carry out the day to day administration of the front office, including answering telephones, emails and running an appointment diary.
  • To answer queries from work seekers.
  • Assist other administrative staff with overflow of work, including word processing, data entry and internet research tasks.
  • To liaise with other departments with reference to ordering stationary.
  • To assist with ad-hoc projects, campaigns and assignments as required, taking a proactive approach to time management.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
