Real Estate Finance Lawyer | International Law Firm | London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join a highly regarded Real Estate Finance team within a leading international law firm in London. This role offers genuine scope for career progression, high-quality work, and exposure to a sophisticated lender and sponsor client base.

Practice

The Real Estate Finance team advises on the full breadth of domestic and cross-border real estate financings, including:

• High‑value investment and development finance
• Complex structured real estate transactions
• Acquisitions and refinancings across multiple asset classes

The practice is recognised for delivering clear, commercially driven advice and for its deep sector knowledge. Clients range from major banks and debt funds to corporate sponsors, real estate funds, REITs, social housing providers, and pension funds.

You will work closely with a large, market‑leading real estate group, benefitting from access to extensive resources, a genuinely collaborative culture, and the international reach of a firm with offices across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.

Responsibilities

You will play a key role in driving high‑value transactions forward, with responsibilities including:

• Drafting and negotiating LMA‑style facility agreements and a full suite of security documents
• Preparing and negotiating guarantees, including cost overrun guarantees
• Drafting and negotiating deeds of priority and intercreditor agreements
• Preparing capacity and enforceability legal opinions
• Leading on project management of conditions precedent and ensuring smooth deal execution

This is an opportunity to work on some of the most interesting and complex real estate finance transactions in the market, while developing strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
