Job summary

A leading facilities management company is seeking a Facilities Manager responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the Hitachi Rail – Bounds Green Depot. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Facilities Management and a strong compliance background. Key responsibilities include managing service delivery, maintaining contractor relationships, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Effective communication and a technical background are desirable. This role requires occasional attendance outside normal working hours.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Strong Health & Safety and Compliance background.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work on your own and being driven for success.
• Technical background would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing the contracted facilities services to client sites.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
• Ensuring service delivery meets contractual requirements.
• Supporting and managing subcontractor work, ensuring compliance.
• Attending sites out of normal working hours when necessary.
