Job description

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the EPR Radioactive Substances Regulations and relevant aspects of the Installations permits and Site Licence conditions transport legislation and supporting management arrangements. Specific areas of work will be :

  • Optimisation of disposal routes for radioactive wastes and conventional wastes including permitted discharges.
  • Characterisation of materials and items. (It is therefore desirable to have an understanding of the Nuclear Industry Guides and the processes and statistical methods described).
  • Support the effective deployment of company-wide policies processes systems and procedures ensuring that at all times the business remains compliant.
