Job summary

A leading educational institution in Rochester seeks a licensed Radiation Therapist to administer radiation treatments accurately and follow directives from the Radiation Oncologist. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited radiation therapy education program and possess the required New York State license. This is a per diem role offering variable hours and an hourly rate of $32.06 to $46.00.

Qualifications

• Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed Radiation Therapist in NYS.
• Satisfactory completion of formal radiation therapy technology education from an accredited program.
• Eligible for and maintains New York State License; ARRT certification is preferred.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiation treatments in a precise manner.
• Carefully reproduces the treatment daily and makes adjustments as directed.

Compensation

Salary Range: $32.06 - $46.00 an hour.

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
