Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Grangemill is seeking an experienced R&D Technician to oversee the R&D function. Responsibilities include sample preparation, testing of materials, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Chemistry (or related field) and have practical knowledge of asphalt and roofing applications. Qualifications

• 5 GCSE A-C including Maths, English and Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Degree in Chemistry or relevant field.
• Good knowledge of IT software, specifically Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage and spearhead the R&D function at Grangemill.
• Carry out sample preparation and testing of trial materials.
• Ensure timely reporting of test results.
