  • Maintain project risk and opportunities schedule.
  • Procure for project/section of works.
  • Ensure procurement understanding and procedures.
  • Financial reporting for the project.
  • Prepare cash forecasts.
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts.

Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks

Salary: £40k - £65k + Pkg DOE

Location: London

Regions: Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, London, South East

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a Regional Civil Contractor who works across the UK specializing RC Frame, Structures and Groundworks. The role will be based in London, with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various London project sites when required.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • The preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment
  • The preparation of Cost Reports to the Client
  • The preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules
  • The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts
  • Contract administration, including change management and maintaining associated registers
  • Maintaining project risk and opportunities schedule
  • Procurement for project/section of works
  • Ensuring all involved in procurement for project understand allowances for items they are responsible for and the procedures to be followed
  • Financial reporting for project/section of works
  • Preparing cash forecast
  • Preparing quarterly forecasts
