Our client is a respected civil engineering contractor specialising in complex infrastructure, groundworks, utilities, and reinforced concrete structures. We are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding commercial team.

Role Purpose

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of allocated civil engineering projects, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, accurate forecasting, and effective stakeholder communication. The role requires a strong understanding of NEC and / or JCT contracts, civil engineering methods, and the commercial processes essential to supporting successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Cost Management
  • Prepare, review, and manage project cost plans, budgets, and cashflow forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Value completed works and manage interim applications for payment.
