Our client, a leading UK infrastructure specialist, is currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team from either Basingstoke or Maidstone. This permanent position offers hybrid working and involvement in regional projects, allowing for a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing commercial delivery on a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
  • Handling valuations, change management, compensation events, and cost reporting
  • Acting as a key commercial contact, engaging directly with clients and subcontractors
  • Working with NEC contracts (Options A & B) and understanding the commercial implications of change
  • Tackling challenges proactively and ensuring contractual compliance throughout
Job Requirements
  • Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure, ideally with main contractor experience
  • Comfortable managing specialist subcontractor packages
  • Understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices
  • Strong commercial awareness, confident in articulating and negotiating change
  • Self‑sufficient, proactive, and client‑focused
  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or similar discipline
