About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

Opportunity for a young, intelligent and ambitious quantity surveyor to join the growing commercial team of a reputable, central London based design and build contractor. The projects will be fast paced fit outs, with values ranging from 500,000 to 5 million. The role is mainly office based, with occasional site trips when required. Previous design and build experience is ideal.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
  • Working from PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts whilst aiding and reporting into your commercial manager throughout.
  • Effectively collaborate with clients, understanding their unique requirements, and work to develop tailored solutions that align with their vision.
  • Dealing with and managing relations with sub-contractors.
  • Co-ordinate the design, sales, and sub-contract team to ensure design and costs are aligned.
  • Rates, cost plans, valuations and CVRs.
  • Site meetings.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or quantity surveying.
  • Experience in dealing with construction contracts and project financial management.
  • Friendly, energetic, and good technical knowledge.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
