• Proven experience as a Commercial Lead on projects.

• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, particularly in dealing with high-specification materials and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Chichester, West Sussex

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package (DOE)

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a bespoke construction firm based in Chichester, specialising in high-end residential refurbishments and the construction of luxury one-off new build houses across West Sussex and the South Coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS to step into a senior role and take ownership of complex, high specification projects, working for a company renowned for quality and exceptional craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction to final account.
• Manage costs, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor packages, ensuring alignment with luxury specifications.
• Prepare and present detailed commercial reports to company directors and private clients.
• Negotiate and manage contracts specific to high-end residential and bespoke construction projects.
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality, on time and within budget.
