A leading financial services provider is looking for a Quantitative Research Lead to enhance sustainability technology solutions and investment performance. Ideal candidates will have a master's qualification, exceptional quantitative skills, and an understanding of sustainability data and investment management technology. This role brings data science expertise to the Sustainable Investing Function supporting Aviva’s commercial success through enhanced growth and investment performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering end‑to‑end sustainability technology solutions and quantitative models that address complex challenges within investment products and processes. They will leverage Aviva Investors quantitative research and development community to enrich sustainability risk analytics and develop models using appropriate data and technology including coding where required. The role involves operationalising these solutions within Aviva Investors technology architecture ensuring full compliance with regulatory obligations and governance standards. A deep understanding of sustainability data investment strategies and technology infrastructure is essential as the candidate will help shape solution objectives from initial problem statements and advise on the art of the possible.
