Qualifications

  • HACCP (Food Safety) Certificate would be desirable, however not essential.
  • Previous experience within Quality Assurance is ESSENTIAL.
  • IT Literate with Microsoft office packages.

Responsibilities

  • Raise non-conformance issues in QMS (ETQ).
  • Review temperature report daily and inform quality team.
  • Audit site environment and equipment for maintenance.
  • Inform ops team about quality concerns during the shift.

Pay Rate: £24,000 to £27,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Grade: RCS O

Contract Type: 12 months fixed term

Shift patterns: Sunday to Thursday, 06:30am to 14:30pm

Location: Derby - DE74 2BB

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer standards are clear and understandable to the operations team
  • Any non conformance raised by the Customer, Quality technician is responsible for raising in QMS (ETQ)
  • Review power BI temperature report E23 daily and inform Customer quality team of out of temperature specification. Customer Quality team will further advise the DHL Quality team on the next action
  • It is the responsibility of the Quality Technicians to audit the site environment and equipment to ensure they are maintained in good repair, and kept clean and tidy
  • Inform ops team about any quality concerns during the shift and outstanding actions
Requirements
