Responsibilities

  • Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspection of components.
  • Program and run CMM inspections using Aberlink.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using handheld equipment.

Job description
The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out first‑off, in‑process, and final inspection of precision‑machined aerospace components within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming and running CMM inspections using Aberlink
  • Inspection using Vision TVM35 shadow graph
  • First‑off and batch inspection of machined components
  • Dimensional inspection using handheld measuring equipment, including micrometers, bore gauges, verniers and height gauges
  • Reading and interpreting complex aerospace engineering drawings
  • Recording inspection results and supporting quality
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within aerospace or precision engineering
  • Background in CNC machining or shop‑floor manufacturing (turning or milling)
  • Strong experience programming and running Aberlink CMMs
  • Experience using Vision TVM / shadow graph systems
  • Confident using micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of tight tolerances
