Quality Inspector

Located on the outskirts of Tewkesbury, this premium technology precision engineering company is looking to hire a Quality Inspector to check CNC milled and turned component parts, along with other specialist operations, on a permanent basis.

It has been four years since the last hire in our Quality department. With the departure of a well‑respected member of our team, we are eager to welcome a new Quality Inspector to our small quality team.

Responsibilities

Inspect CNC milled, turned and ground components – first off and in‑process inspections. Check dimensions and tolerances using a range of precision inspection tools, such as micrometers, gauges, vernier calipers, CMM and form‑tracing equipment.

Qualifications

Experienced in quality inspection of CNC machined component parts with more than two years of related experience (or equivalent skill set in less time). Comfortable completing first off and in‑process inspections and confident in using a variety of precision inspection tools.

  • Location: Tewkesbury (commutable from Worcester, Evesham, Gloucester, Cheltenham and surrounding areas)
  • Working hours: 39 hour working week, day shift, lunch finished on Fridays, overtime often available
  • Pay rate: £32,000 – £36,000 (based on experience, open to discussion)
  • Contract type: Permanent from day one
