Responsibilities

As a Senior Quality Control Inspector, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of incoming parts before they enter production. You’ll work alongside a skilled team, including other senior inspectors and assistant QC staff, reporting to the Quality Control Coordinator. This is a hands-on, proactive role requiring strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Inspecting parts using advanced equipment (including CMM) against technical drawings.
  • Programming and operating Hexagon CMMs, interpreting results, and training others.
  • Collaborating with design, production, and supplier teams to understand critical dimensions and manufacturing processes.
  • Producing NCRs and detailed fault reports, maintaining traceability and documentation.
  • Visiting key suppliers across the UK to resolve quality issues and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications
  • Experience inspecting parts with advanced equipment (including CMMs) and reading technical drawings.
  • Programming and operating Hexagon CMMs; interpreting results and training others.
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with design, production, and supplier teams and travel to supplier sites in the UK.
