A leading machining business in Huntingdonshire is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure high-quality parts are dispatched. The role involves quality checking a variety of metallic parts and conducting first-off and final inspections. Ideal candidates will have experience with hand tools and a keen eye for detail. The position offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule with no shifts required.

This is your chance to join a leading machining business that supplies unique, high‑end parts to customers across Europe in the medical, scientific and aerospace industries. As a subcontractor, the work is extremely varied for a wide range of customers. As a Quality Inspector, you will play an integral part in ensuring that the highest quality parts are leaving the door, using a keen eye to spot any issues or imperfections.
You will be responsible for quality checking a variety of metallic parts, including first‑off inspection and final inspection before dispatch to customers. The work is varied, involving some first‑off inspections. If you have experience using hand tools such as verniers, micrometres and shadowgraphs, and are comfortable operating or programming CMM machines, this could be the role for you. The position is Monday to Friday with no shift requirements.
