A major construction firm is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee quality in their projects, especially at Hinkley Point C. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering quality, with a strong understanding of nuclear-grade standards. We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our KierBam Joint Venture based at Hinkley Point C.
Location: Bridgwater - Hinkley Point C
Hours: 47.5 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Implement and oversee adherence to the Project Quality Plan, specifications, ITPs, RAMS, and nuclear safety standards, including inspections and testing requirements.
Manage QA documentation, product compliance, and traceability records, ensuring readiness for progressive assurance and project handover.
Lead non‑conformance management, incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and communicate lessons learned to clients and stakeholders.
Coordinate with package managers, subcontractors, and design teams to maintain robust quality standards, delivering briefings and training as required.
