Qualifications

  • Degree in textile, mechanical, industrial or quality engineering required.
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and Core Tools is essential.
  • Experience in automotive or textile manufacturing is a plus.

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support audits and close out customer complaints.
  • Take ownership of APQP and PPAP documentation for products.
  • Drive lean and six sigma initiatives.

About you
  • You’ve got a degree in textile, mechanical, industrial or quality engineering
  • Experience in automotive or textile manufacturing
  • IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) are familiar territory for you
  • You enjoy digging into data, spotting trends and tightening processes
  • You’re confident working with production, lab teams, suppliers and customers
  • You see quality as collaborative, helping teams deliver their best work
About the role
  • You’ll help maintain and improve the QMS, keeping everything aligned with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
  • You’ll support internal, customer and external audits and help close out customer complaints
  • You’ll take ownership of APQP and PPAP documentation for new and existing products
  • You’re an advocate for continuous improvement, driving lean and six sigma initiatives
  • You’ll monitor process capability, spot trends and tighten controls where needed
  • Collaboration with the lab is key, supporting quality improvements across yarn strength, colourfastness, elongation, and uniformity
  • You’ll also work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials stay consistent and on spec
