Job Responsibilities
  • Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
  • Responsible for the creation and implementation of quality assurance plans/inspection strategies for new and existing products.
  • Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.
  • Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
  • Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
  • Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
  • Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
  • Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
  • Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
  • Creates and implements local Quality Inspection strategy to meet business requirements.
  • Works under general direction, Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for precision manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis to enhance product reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality manuals, and process control plans.
  • Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance in precision manufacturing.
  • Other tasks as required to support the business.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet the highest quality standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., 5‑Why, Ishikawa, 8D, APQP, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Proficiency in the use and interpretation of engineering drawings, standards and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using measurement and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
  • Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO 9001 and other relevant management systems and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience within a precision manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions.
  • Experience of precision manufacturing.
  • Experience working with calibration systems and gauge control.
  • Good understanding of the basic operation and control of CMMs and similar automated measurement equipment.
  • GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external customers.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
