Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Crewe, is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who is passionate about improving processes, driving standards, and supporting a high‑performing production environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of quality assurance activities across the site, ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve issues, enhance processes, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead investigations into quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Support and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Oversee quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering quality role
  • Strong understanding of quality methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and PPAP
  • Confident in leading root cause analysis and improvement projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across departments
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience is advantageous
