Job description

Salary: £28,400 per annum
Location: East Nottingham

A vacancy has arisen for a Quality Control Operator at our client's East Nottingham production site. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the role is suited to an individual experienced in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, and shifts during seasonal periods may be required.

The Role:
  • Perform calibration checks of scales, metal detectors, check-weighers, and manual thermometers as needed
  • Verify compliance of delivered and packed products to specifications and report issues to QA Supervisor
  • Input data into QA / NAV systems
  • Prepare production sample kits
  • Organize and log production samples for micro and chemistry evaluation
  • Coordinate and present traceability exercises as required
  • Engage in continuous improvement within the department
  • Assist in developing systems, controls, and reducing paperwork
  • Participate in foreign body and complaint investigations
  • Conduct periodic environmental swabbing, auditing, and shelf-life sample evaluations
