Summary
Responsible for the overall company quality and compliance framework in coordination with all business stakeholders for the subsidiaries of Techbuyer Europe ensuring adherence with best practice and alignment with all legal, regulatory and quality obligations (currently the company is registered for ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and 45001).
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
- Ensure group standard operating procedure manual and instructional documents are maintained with input from business stakeholders
- Conduct internal audits of all quality systems are report findings
- Lead and Manage External ISO audits
- Identify other areas of continuous improvement and implement findings with business stakeholders
- Ensure company contracts are correctly stored in document management system
- Sit as a member of the H&S committee
- Provide broader training to the organisation on relevant quality topics
Compliance
- Complete regular legal and regulatory changes vigilance report and advise board of any emerging topics to address
- Provide expert guidance or support when required to business heads on key risks and topics including Sanctions Compliance, GDPR, AML, Export Policy, sustainability, licencing
- Develop practical but effective onboarding and monitoring of business partners aligned with agreed business risk and requirements as well as ISO standards
- Act or support company DPO with investigations
General
- As the company culture promotes helping others, ad hoc tasks may be assigned to the job holder that are not listed above
- The job holder is expected to understand and work according to the requirements of the Techbuyer Quality Management System
Desired Skills and Training
- Knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards
- Background in IT distribution, FMCG, Manufacturing in a multi company import/export environment
- Understanding of export control of dual use goods, sanctions, AML, GDPR
- Ability to conduct internal audits
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis of issues and implement preventative control measures
- Collaborative working style
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communications skills
- Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodology (Desirable)
- Sound knowledge of cyber risk
