Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T and proven experience in CMM programming and operation (minimum 2 years).
  • Experience with functional test systems and automotive component testing.
  • Ability to diagnose faults, identify basic root causes, and interpret technical specifications.
  • Proficiency with standard PC applications (Word, Excel) and digital reporting tools.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment.

Job description
Quality Assurance Technician

The organization develops advanced mobility technologies in the domains of electrification, automated driving systems, and connected vehicle platforms. Its mission includes minimizing environmental impact, improving traffic safety, and enhancing user comfort by delivering high-reliability automotive and motorcycle system components.

The QA Technician role supports these objectives by executing precision measurement, testing, and failure analysis activities to ensure product compliance, robustness, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Analysis & Failure Investigation
  • Conduct structured analysis of customer-returned components and field returns.
  • Identify failure modes, root causes, and contributing factors using standardized diagnostic and analytical methods.
  • Document findings with traceable data, measurement results, and root-cause justification.
2. Functional Testing & Dimensional Measurement
  • Execute functional and performance tests on new, current, and re-engineered components per engineering requirements.
  • Perform dimensional verification using CMM systems and metrology equipment within dedicated analysis and measurement laboratories.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure conformance to technical specifications.
3. Reliability & Validation Testing
  • Carry out reliability, durability, and environmental tests aligned with customer requirements and program timing.
  • Record, analyse, and interpret test data using appropriate statistical tools and engineering criteria.
4. Technical Reporting
  • Produce accurate, structured technical reports detailing measurement data, test procedures, investigation results, and engineering conclusions.
  • Apply analytical methods (e.g., capability studies, trend analysis, tolerance evaluation) where appropriate.
5. Equipment Control & Maintenance
  • Perform routine inspection, calibration checks, and basic maintenance of metrology and test equipment.
  • Identify equipment faults and carry out minor repairs or escalation procedures.
  • Maintain test equipment documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and calibration logs.
6. Support for Production & Quality Systems
  • Provide metrology and containment support to production operations as required.
  • Contribute to PPAP submissions (customer and supplier) by supplying measurement data, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist cross-functional teams with ad hoc quality and testing requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
