A leading specialist trade merchant is seeking a Quality Assurance professional for a full-time, permanent position based in Dartford. Responsibilities

  • Perform daily product inspections as prompted by the Warehouse Management System or QA Manager.
  • Install and test products identified as requiring testing.
  • Dismantle products to perform repairs, including refinishing and polishing of composite materials.
  • Contact suppliers and request replacement parts/products if items fail inspection.
  • Inspect products to determine suitability for repair and raise orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily product inspections as prompted by the Warehouse Management System or QA Manager.
  • Install and test products identified as requiring testing.
  • Dismantle products to perform repairs, including refinishing and polishing of composite materials, fitting of spares, re‑assembly, and testing.
  • Contact suppliers and request replacement parts/products if items fail inspection or testing.
  • Inspect products to determine suitability for repair, obtain prices, and raise orders.

This role is a full‑time, permanent position, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday: 07:00‑16:00 with a 1‑hour break, office role. No weekend working required.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Health and safety knowledge.
  • Ability to work well within a team and on own initiative, while prioritising workloads.
  • IT knowledge, including Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and prioritisation of workload.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
