Qualifications

  • Producing, stripping, filing and reviewing process packs.
  • Production of test packs and the issuing of packs or test pieces to the site.
  • Completion of internal audits.
  • Completion of Validations.
  • Escalating non-conformances as required.
  • Attending Quality Panels as required.
  • SAP transactions/tracker completion.

Quality Assurance Operative

Based at Carlton, Barnsley S71 3HF - The Home of Mr Kipling

Salary - £30,368.04

Permanent, Full Time (39.5 hours per week)

This role will be to support Centre Technical Lead by ensuring compliance with internal and external food safety standards. You will also be responsible for assuring the site has controls of its processes and that Product Quality is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Issuing plant specifications to line/area files.
  • Producing, stripping, filing and reviewing process packs.
  • Production of test packs and the issuing of packs or test pieces to the site.
  • Completion of internal audits (e.g. Process Compliance & Process pack audits).
  • Completion of Validations (e.g. Metal Detectors, X Rays).
  • Escalating non-conformances as required.
  • Attending Quality Panels as required.
  • SAP transactions/tracker completion. (Concessions, Product Holds, Date changes)

  • Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene or relevant
  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to short term demands.
  • Good team working skills and experience of working across multi disciplines.
