A leading healthcare provider is seeking Nursing Associates to join their Early Days in Custody team at HMP Elmley. In this role, you will support the health and wellbeing of prisoners, ensuring safe and compassionate care delivery. The position requires NMC registration and offers a chance to have a profound impact on patients' lives through holistic support. Applicants must be prepared for national security vetting related to prison work and provide necessary documentation.
We are currently recruiting two full time Nursing Associates to join the Early Days in Custody team at HMP Elmley.
Within this role you will contribute to the health and wellbeing of patients and service users across all health and care settings. As a Nursing Associate you will deliver high quality, personalised, safe, compassionate care in the best interest of people. You will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours required across the fields of nursing, providing holistic care and support for patients.
You will work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing. You will recognise and work within the limits of your competence. You will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct and be registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
