Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Qualified Chartered Accountant (min. 3 years PQE) to join a long-established, highly reputable accountancy firm based in Omagh.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key position within our team, working closely with the Managing Partner and supporting junior staff. You will manage your own portfolio of clients and play an integral role in delivering high-quality Accounts Preparation and Client Support services.

  • Preparation and review of accounts for a wide range of clients, including limited companies.
  • Managing your own portfolio with direct client-facing responsibilities.
  • Providing guidance, support and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Assisting clients with their business needs and helping deliver added value through strong clientrelationships.
  • Managing and prioritising your workload to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong experience using accounting software.
  • Proven knowledge in accounts preparation, personal tax returns and VAT returns.
  • Experience working with charities is advantageous but not essential.
  • Flexible, well organised and confident in dealing with clients.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to plan and schedule work effectively.
