Job description
QTS Tutor

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and patient Maths & English Tutor, who holds Qualified Teacher Status. We are working in partnership with Northumberland County Council to provide 1-to-1 or small group tuition to young people who have SEND or have been permanently excluded.

We have several referrals available across Northumberland, particularly around Cramlington & Blyth that require a Tutor that holds QTS. Patience is a key attribute as young people may have a prolonged period out of education or may have Social Emotional and Mental Health needs.

We will work with you to build your timetable and achieve the number of hours you are wanting to work. This is the perfect opportunity for a Qualified Teacher who is wanting to leave a classroom setting while still making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
